NAC

Endpoint Security is an approach to protecting corporate networks from remotely-attached devices (laptops, tablets, mobile phones and other wireless devices), as well as the devices themselves from external threats, by ensuring that the devices comply with the organisation’s policies and standards. Typically consisting of a VPN client, client OS and a centralised endpoint manager, centralised control can be on-premise or hosted in the Cloud as a SaaS service.

Ivanti Policy Secure provides complete visibility and Network Access Control (NAC) for all local or remote endpoints. Its open, high-performance design helps small and large organizations easily enforce endpoint security compliance and zero trust security. The intuitive UI makes for easy administration and customizable reporting.
Policy Secure continuously enforces foundational security policies and controls network access for managed and unmanaged endpoints, including IoT. Policy Secure uses zero trust principles to manage network access by validating the user and a device’s security posture, and then connects the device with least privilege access policy.
The open platform integrates with a wide range of switching, Wi-Fi and NGFW solutions to enforce access policies. Bidirectional integration with third-party security solutions improves overall security efficacy with automated endpoint access enforcement.
Ivanti Policy Secure integrates with NGFWs from vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, Juniper and Fortinet, as well as SIEM solutions like IBM Qradar and Splunk.

  • ‘We are really happy with the Juniper Mist solution provided by IP Performance and in fact when you look at the number of daily connections I would say it’s exceeded our expectations, for example in our Coatbridge campus the feedback from all staff and students for a number of years has been really negative regarding the Wifi but right now we currently have 600 users connected. The ability to look at the monitor and see what the trends are in terms of time-to-connect and successful connections also gives us the ability to see a problem before it impacts on a number of users. Therefore this reduces the amount of Wifi issues that are submitted to our helpdesk, so this again shows that the solution works.’
