Proud Sponsors of SOCITM Top Talent in Cardiff

IP Performance are delighted to have sponsored Top Talent in Cardiff for the third year in a row.

Top Talent is a 4 day CPD Certified Leadership course. It encourages participants to focus on their unique qualities, develop confidence in their own abilities and create impact through action: empowering those around to the betterment of all.
The course informs and challenges in equal measure through interactive workshops and exercises. As sponsors we at IP performance set the final project. This year it was “Reporting on future working practices”. It was presented to about 100 local government delegates at the SOCITM Welsh National Conference in the Principality Stadium. The output from this years cohort was outstanding, covering retention and recruitment, Welfare, Productivity, Technical Infrastructure, Security, Testing and Education and Awareness.
It is always a great networking opportunity. By working alongside these talented individuals, we gain valuable insights into the latest trends and developments in the public sector, as well as access to innovative ideas and approaches to problem solving. This years cohort were all from Welsh Government and councils. In previous years we have been joined by people from as far afield as Teesside and Norfolk.
Sponsoring the Socitm Top Talent programme allows us to demonstrate our commitment to supporting the growth and development of today’s technology leaders, particularly in the Public Sector.

‘We are really happy with the Juniper Mist solution provided by IP Performance and in fact when you look at the number of daily connections I would say it’s exceeded our expectations, for example in our Coatbridge campus the feedback from all staff and students for a number of years has been really negative regarding the Wifi but right now we currently have 600 users connected. The ability to look at the monitor and see what the trends are in terms of time-to-connect and successful connections also gives us the ability to see a problem before it impacts on a number of users. Therefore this reduces the amount of Wifi issues that are submitted to our helpdesk, so this again shows that the solution works.’
