Networkshop 39, University of Hertfordshire
IP Performance were delighted to be exhibiting once more at Networkshop 39, which this year was held at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, between the 12th and the 14th April.
The IP Performance team spent the conference exhibition breaks talking to delegates and conference organisers, chatting about the latest products in our portfolio, industry trends and technologies. As well as exhibiting, IP Performance's John Baker presented on Virtualisation Management, and provided a live demonstration of Xangati for ESX.
IP Performance's now near-legendary Beer and Quiz evening set a new record in terms of numbers - this year over 85 delegates turned up at the Cat & Fiddle pub for free beers and fiendish brain-teasers!
Competition: As always, IP Performance hosted a prize quiz on our stand. The questions this time were fewer, but harder (and use of Smartphones, or disappearing then coming back later was banned).

- 2nd prize: iPod Nano - Tom Whitehouse, University of York
- 3rd prize: Digital photo frame - Colin McLellan, Heriot-Watt University

Networkshop is an annual event organised by JANET(UK) and hosted by a Higher Education organisation. It is the established and unrivalled technical event on the academic conference calendar and attracts experts from across the UK. Aimed at network managers and technical staff from the JANET community, the conference provides a forum for discussion on the latest network technologies and brings together expertise from all the fields of networking.
Next year's event, Networkshop 40, will be held from the 3rd to the 5th April 2012 at the University of York. IP Performance look forward to seeing all our University and HE contacts again at this leading technical event in the academic calendar.
