Firewall/IPSec VPN
Complete line of firewall/VPN solutions and products for enterprises and service providers.
Tightly integrated set of best-in-class security applications to protect against worms, Trojans, viruses and other malware.
Multiple management mechanisms including complete CLI, WebUI or centralized management via NetScreen Security Manager facilitate rapid deployment while minimizing ongoing operational costs.
The Juniper Networks family of purpose-built security solutions is designed to satisfy customer networking and security requirements that range from small branch office and telecommuter locations to high-speed carrier and data center environments.
Intrusion Prevention (IDP)
Juniper Networks Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) products provide comprehensive and easy-to-use in-line protection that stops network and application-level attacks before they inflict any damage to the network, minimizing the time and costs associated with maintaining a secure network. Using industry-recognized stateful detection and prevention techniques, Juniper Networks IDP provides zero-day protection against worms, Trojans, spyware, keyloggers and other malware from penetrating the network or spreading from already infected users.
Juniper Networks IDP not only helps protect networks against attacks, it provides information on rogue servers, as well as types and versions of applications and operating systems that may have unknowingly been added to the network. Application signatures, available on the Juniper Networks IDP, goes a step further and enables accurate detection of specific applications such as peer-to-peer or instant messaging. Armed with the knowledge of specific applications running in the network, administrators can more easily enforce security policies and maintain compliance with corporate application use policy. Juniper Networks IDP also provides DiffServ markings to allow the routers to enforce bandwidth limitations on non-essential applications. Not only can administrators control the access of specific applications, but they can ensure that business-critical applications receive a predictable quality of service.
NSMExpress
NSMXpress is an appliance version of NetScreen-Security Manager. It simplifies the complexity of security device administration by providing a single integrated management interface that controls every device parameter. This robust hardware management system installs in minutes with full High Availability (HA) support, which also makes it easy to scale and deploy.
Enterprise customers with limited resources can benefit significantly from NSMXpress. That is because it eliminates the need to have dedicated resources for maintaining a security management solution. NSMXpress makes it easy for administrators to control all aspects of Juniper’s firewall/VPN and intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) devices, including device configuration, network settings, and security policy
SSL VPN
Juniper Networks' Secure Access leads the SSL VPN market with a complete range of remote-access appliances. Juniper's SSL VPN products have a variety of form factors and features that can be combined to meet the needs of companies of all sizes. These range from SMBs that need VPN access for remote/mobile employees to large global deployments that must provide remote and/or extranet access for employees, partners and customers from a single platform.
Juniper's SSL VPN solutions use SSL, the security protocol found in all standard Web browsers. This eliminates the need for client-software deployment, changes to internal servers and costly ongoing maintenance and desktop support. Juniper SSL VPN Secure Access appliances combine the overall benefit of a lower total cost of ownership compared to traditional IPSec VPN client solutions with unique end-to-end security features. Enhanced remote access methods enable the enterprise to provision access by purpose for virtually any resource, including those that are jitter or latency sensitive.
Unified Access Control - UAC
Juniper Networks' Unified Access Control (UAC) solution combines user identity, device security state and location information for session-specific access policy by user enforced throughout the network. Juniper's UAC is an open, standards-based solution built on field-tested, best-in-class security and access control products. UAC enables a phased approach to deploying network and application access control, leveraging existing enterprise network investments and deployments.
UAC enforces policy at Layer 2 using any vendor's 802.1X-enabled switches or wireless access points, at Layers 3 - 7 using Juniper firewalls, or both. UAC expands access control to network traffic, delivering ubiquitous protection by implementing simultaneous security enforcement deeper in the network's core and outward to the network's edge. UAC delivers network access control, visibility, and monitoring, protecting the enterprise network and applications while reducing the cost and complexity of deploying and managing access control.
