IP Performance exhibits at CFOA ICT Management Conference
IP Performance were proud to sponsor and exhibit at the Chief Fire Officers' Association (CFOA) ICT Management Conference & Exhibition, held at the Northampton Marriott Hotel between the 20th and 21st May 2009.
The annual Information and Communications Technology (ICT) conference for the UK's Fire and Rescue Services (FRS), the event is hosted under the aegis of the CFOA, the professional governing body of the UK fire and rescue service.
The byline for the conference was 'ICT - enabler for business efficiencies and savings'.
This was IP Performance's first sponsorship and attendance at this event, and it turned out to be a very busy and interesting couple of days. IP Performance were spotlighting the LogRhythm log aggregation, management and analysis solution, which proved to be of great interest to the delegates, given the focus of the management conference on topics such as codes of connection to Government network resources such as GCSx, the emergent PSN (Public Services Network) and the NRE (National Resilience Extranet). Other areas of interest included NAC - Network Access Control (one of the conference themes was Identity & Access Management and the NPIA Framework), bandwidth & application optimisation, and virtualisation.
