IP Performance and Bluecat Networks sponsor LINX71
IP Performance were pleased to sponsor and exhibit at LINX71, the London Internet Exchange's quarterly member meeting. As a supplier to several LINX members, IP Performance have in the past hosted sessions on UK Local Loop Unbundling (LLU), presentations on vendor solutions and exhibited their portfolio products to the capital's Internet Exchange Point (IXP). At this latest meeting, IP Performance introduced our vendor partner BlueCat Networks, where Paul Brown addressed the membership and presented on BlueCat's IP Address Management (IPAM), DNS and DHCP product offerings.
The event was held on the 22nd and 23rd of November at the Congress Centre in London, and featured LINX organisation and technical engineering updates and sponsor addresses, including presentations from TeleCity, DIX, NIX and Zen Internet. Technical updates included general engineering and network architecture reports, developments in BGP, RIPE policy updates, an update on100Gbps Ethernet in the lab, and a presentation on the LINX History Project.
The first evening's social event and entertainment were hosted at the Circus bar in London's Covent Garden.
