Adonis features a hardened version of the Linux kernel running the latest BIND software. The Adonis OS is used in over 4000 deployments and has never, to our knowledge, been breached. Integrate DNS and DHCP with Adonis, enabling automatic address and name assignment, and automatic updating of DNS records, when a host's IP address changes. Configure Adonis to require authenticated access by using digital certificates on both the client and server sides. Enable signed zone transfers using TSIGs to authenticate the transfers and DNS updates. Require the integrated firewall to reject any network traffic not related to DNS or the Adonis Management Console. Adonis will check for logical errors in DNS configurations with data-validation tools, and ensure complete and accurate synchronization and replication with slave servers.
