Avocent SwitchView® KVM switches enable you to use a single keyboard, monitor and mouse to access multiple PCs – reducing the investment you have to make in peripheral devices and saving valuable desktop real estate. SwitchView KVM switches can support combinations of PS/2 and USB PCs, and SwitchView multimedia switches let you share USB devices, and speakers and a microphone between PCs. With separate I/O processors and 60dB separation between channels, the SwitchView SC switch design does not allow the transfer of data between the connected computers, ensuring data security isn’t compromised.
SwitchView SC KVM switch products are National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) Common Criteria validated to EAL 4 augmented with ALC_FLR.2, (designated as EAL 4+,) and meet the strict security compliance standards set by the government. NIAP oversees information technology security standards called Common Criteria – the essence of NIAP testing.
